Stuttgart International Violin Competition

24 young participants

24 candidates, who are no older than 28 at the time of the application deadline, will be selected by a jury of experts from an international field of applicants and admitted to the competition.

Jury of experts

An international jury of experts appointed by the Guadagnini Foundation will be responsible for pre-selection of the candidates, admission to the second preliminary round and to the final, and for the selection of the winners.

Prize money and support

In addition to prize money totalling 70,000 Euros and the loan of a violin made by the famous 18th century Italian violin maker, G.B. Guadagnini, the prize winners will be offered additional support. This will include artist management for the three subsequent years
